Lauren Johannesson-McCoy

Lauren Johannesson-McCoy is a graduate of Georgetown College. Inspired by her work at CSJ during her undergraduate career, Lauren pursued a career in education after graduation. After serving as a Jesuit Alumni Volunteer at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago, IL, Lauren returned to DC and continued to work as a high school teacher before returning to Georgetown to work and study. She obtained her MBA and worked in Student Affairs and CSJ before joining American University’s Washington College of Law as the Assistant Director of Business Operations in the fall of 2019. Outside of work, Lauren stays busy with her family in Columbia Heights riding bikes, running around the playground, and trying out new recipes. Lauren is thrilled to serve on the SIPS board to continue working with the Georgetown community and support the important SIPS mission.
