The Center for Civic Innovation

In the summer of 2019, Natalie Nunez (SFS ‘21) worked at The Center for Civic Innovation (CCI) in Atlanta, Georgia. The Center for Civic Innovation is an organization that works towards fighting income inequality by empowering Atlantans to enact systemic change through community-driven solutions.

As a GU Impacts Fellow, Natalie supported the residents of Atlanta through research on one of the CCI teams. Through this opportunity, she likewise gained the tools and skills necessary to help people in every community become civically engaged and participate in the betterment of their environment.
