Shreya Arora

Shreya is a senior in the School of Health majoring in Global Health. She is from the San Francisco Bay Area but spent a few years of her childhood in Mumbai, India. Shreya founded Georgetown’s chapter of Project RISHI (Rural India Social and Health Improvement) in 2020 to co-create innovative and sustainable health projects in rural Rajasthan. She has won two SIPS summer scholar awards and one annual award to fund RISHI’s menstrual health empowerment project and project focused on reducing iron-deficiency anemia among women. Outside of RISHI, Shreya has interned at a variety of NGOs including Results for Development and the United Nations Foundation on different global health initiatives.
