Vicente Ferrer Foundation 

In the summer of 2019, Cindy Fan worked with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation.  The organization focuses on women’s empowerment, diversifying livelihood, improving infrastructure, and increasing access to quality healthcare and inclusive education in rural India.  

Interning in Andra Pradesh, Cindy supported students undergoing job interviews and conducted lesson planning to ensure participation across economic barriers.  Throughout her time at the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, she likewise identified ways in which the government could improve its support for social enterprises as well as the perceptions that founders and other individuals have towards government collaboration.
