World Bank

In the summer of 2019, Sara Rotenberg (NHS ’20) worked with the Mind, Behaviour and Development Unit at the World Bank in Washington D.C. The Mind, Behaviour and Development Unit seeks to use behavioral science, economics, and data to understand and improve the effectiveness of policy and development projects around the world.

As part of this unit’s team, Sara created surveys and tools to measure and analyze data in order to support behaviourally-informed policy initiatives. Specifically, her projects focused on policies aimed at changing health behaviors and gender norms.
